Probe is a CGI search engine written in Perl that can perform powerful searches on flat-file databases or crawl through subdirectories, searching through .html files (Title-tags, meta-description and meta-keywords information). Some other capabilities of Probe include multiple databases, multiple keywords, case-sensitive/insensitive keywords, whole or partial keywords, specific fields to search in, and specific databases to search in.
